These diaries contain the daily record of events, reports on operations, intelligence summaries, etc, of commanders of headquarters, garrisons and units of the British Army overseas in commands other than the main theatres.

Public access to this series was previously restricted in that readers were required to sign an undertaking note not to disclose information of a personal nature.
