Description

These records of the British element of the Allied Force, which landed in Algiers in November 1942, contain the daily record of events, reports on operations, intelligence summaries, etc, of headquarters formation and unit commanders. The series also contains war diaries of the forces which dealt with planning and training from July 1941.

The series is arranged in the order of headquarters of formations and areas, followed by units of the Royal Artillery, Infantry and other arms of the service, not in order of precedence.
