There is also a collection of maps of Afghanistan, India and Egypt, 1835 to 1893. They relate chiefly to operations in South Africa, 1899 to 1902, where Lord Roberts was Commander in Chief.
A number of letters, reports and papers accumulated by Lord Roberts as Commander in Chief in England, 1903 to 1904 and later, as President of the National Service League, were added in 1960.
