Description

These chiefly consist of completed inspection forms returned to the Adjutant General and, from 1904, to the Army Council, giving a general report on the condition of each regiment, the numbers of the men, the names of officers present and absent; with confidential reports and reports on the efficiency of the Army and defences.

A large number of these inspection returns contain abstracts of regimental courts martial.
