To: The Clerk to the Guardians of the Bishop Auckland Union, Bishop Auckland [Durham]; The Town Clerk, Bishop Auckland; The Clerk to the Justices of the North West Division of Darlington Ward, Bishop Auckland; The Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Bishop Auckland; The Churchwarden or Overseers of the Parish of Auckland St Andrew, Bishop Auckland; The Churchwarden or Overseers of the Township of Bishop Auckland.

Draft letter enclosing copies of the report of the Superintending Inspector appointed to inquire into the sanitary condition of the district of Bishop Auckland and the proposed amendment of the Provisional Order applying the Act to that district [not included]. A copy of a notification prefixed to the reports announcing that written statements may be forwarded to the General Board of Health on the subject of the report on or before the 20 March 1856 is also enclosed.
