To: The General Board of Health.

From: John Lee, Bishop Auckland [Durham].

Letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 22 January 1856. Lee explains the reasons why he does not agree to the reduction of his account for work done during the inquiry preliminary to the application of the Public Health Act 1848 to the district of Bishop Auckland.
