To: The General Board of Health.
From: Thomas Thornton, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Bishop Auckland [Durham].
Letter informing that there can be no doubt that the omission of Pollards Lands from the Provisional Order applying the Public Health Act 1848 to the district of Bishop Auckland was 'a mistake altogether'. Thornton seeks advice as to what steps might be taken by the Local Board to rectify the omission.
