Folios 701-702.
To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: R H Buse, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Bideford [Devon].
Letter explaining that within the last few years a row of about ten cottages has been constructed on one side of a new road which branches off from a main street and terminates in a cul-de-sac. Buse states that the proprietors are unwilling for it to become a highway. He asks whether the Local Board can cause a public lamp to be erected in such place 'at their own expense'.
