To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: R H Buse, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Bideford [Devon].
Letter informing that the Local Board are contemplating the purchase of small premises as 'a depot for flagstones and other materials and articles belonging to the Board'. Buse enquires whether it is legal for the Local Board to do this and whether or not it would be within the meaning of Section 84 of the Public Health Act 1848.
