Authorisation for the appointment of Mr William Sparks as lieutenant of Captain Wiseman's Company of his majesty's regiment of foot raised at Woolwich Dockyard. Mistakes also to be rectified over christian names in the commissioning of ensigns (namely the changing of Richard to Frederick Maddocks and John to Thomas Astley).
