Copy of a letter from Captain Saunders commander of HMS 'Superb[e]' in the Downs, relating to intelligence from Calais. Includes a report of an English genteel woman who claims to have helped the [Jacobite] prisoners escape from Newgate, and news of the arrival of a Swedish dogger privateer (with Scots crew members aboard) which sent in two small Danish prizes.
