Intelligence gathered by Mr William Downing a 'mariner master' and Mr John Popplesom a gunsmith of Fowey [Cornwall], relating to the return to port of [Jacobite] ships, the landing of the Duke of Ormond and his retinue from Scotland and the sending of arms (to Scotland).
