Enclosing an extract from Admiral Baker at Port Mahon concerning the saluting of the fort at Villa Franca by the 'Fox' last September [1715] while proceeding to Genoa. Whereupon the governor threatened to fire upon the vessel if it didn't accept a salute of 'two guns less in answer'.
