This series contains circular letters issued by the Universities Funding Council. Circular letters were sent to the vice-chancellors of universities and principals of colleges to inform them on matters relating to funding and other activities of the Funding Council. Immediately prior to the dissolution of the Council, circular letters relating to matters dealt with by the Polytechnics and Colleges Funding Council were also sent out by the UFC in the same series. No circular letters were produced after 1992.
This series consists of circular letters addressed to the vice-chancellors and principals of the universities, which contain a variety of correspondence including statistics, procedural instructions and requests for information.
