Description

Registers containing brief details of cases referred to the Solicitor to the Office of Works, and, from 1877, to the Treasury Solicitor. The entries relate to legal business concerning royal parks and palaces and the management of government property.

After 1926 registration was discontinued and replaced by a system of file dockets which were kept in loose-leaf form.
