A few files relate to maritime questions involving other departments, principally the Mercantile Marine Department of the Board of Trade and the Ministry of Shipping. Some files concerning the Ambatielos case, 1920 to 1934, and the loss of HM Submarine Thetis in 1939 are also in the series.
