Folio 340. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission. He quotes from the medical officer, T S Fletcher's [Thomas Swindell Fletcher], report. Several of last week's cases are recovered and others are improving. [Sarah Hodgkiss], who is ill, has a four year old child who was taken ill with violent diarrhea [diarrhoea] the day before, and is not likely to live. Fletcher will write in more detail to Mr Austin [Alfred Austin], Assistant Poor Law Commissioner.
