Folios 336-337. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to [Thomas Day], Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, acknowledging their letter of 18 June 1844, enclosing a copy of the medical officer's report on the prevalence of serious illness among the inmates of the workhouse. The Commission will sanction any outdoor relief necessary. The relief given in those cases which are not one of the exceptions to the Prohibitory Order, should be reported under Article IV.
