Folio 315. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission. As requested in their circular letter of 20 April 1844, he has ascertained the average weekly number of paupers relieved in the workhouse by going through the admissions/discharge book. They are, for the years to Lady Day: 1840, 100; 1841, 123; 1842, 151; 1843, 217; 1844, 208. He asks them to correct the return submitted on 18 April 1844 [16 April 1844].
