Description

Folio 288. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union about the repayment of a debt of owed by Bellbroughton [Belbroughton] parish. The amount is £135 2s 5d, being the balance owed from a sum borrowed of £250. They will consent to the repayment of the debt from the rates, but need to see the original promissory note first.
