Folio 278. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, enclosing a copy of a letter from Sarah Griffin [not included]. This relates to a claim her husband has against the guardians for £2 15s for encroachment on his land and damage caused by carrying materials through his meadow; he also claims £3 1s for the use of an outbuilding for storing tools during the construction of the workhouse. They ask for an explanation of the matter.
