Folio 273. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Mr Milward [Henry Milward], of Redditch in the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union. They clarify that the statute to which he refers is 59 Geo III c 12 s 19, not 54 Geo III c 12. This provides for tenements let for between £20 and £6 for up to a year or for periods of less than quarterly, and would therefore not seem to apply to the cases he quotes.
