Correspondence sent by Admiral Byng relating to the apprehension of Scotch and Irish ships laden with ammunition and clothing for the Pretender in Scotland. Further intelligence concerning a French ship 'La Ville de St Malo' laden with 300 chests of arms, 2-300 barrels of powder, 100 small barrels of musket shot and two bales of soldiers' clothes.
