Administrative / biographical background

The Training and Education (TE) Division was established in 1945, bringing together staff who had formerly worked in this area under the Director of Training and Education. The division continued to work in close association with other establishment divisions.

The Civil Service Department took over the responsibilities of this Division in November 1968 when all files created after 1963 passed to it.
