Description

These books record the receipts into the account of the Exchequer at the Banks of England and Ireland for each day. The receipts are analysed by reference to the different headings of revenue and other receipts, including borrowing, and are totalled daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly. There are separate analyses giving more precise details of miscellaneous revenue, receipts from Suez Canal shares and sundry loans and repayment of advances.
