John F. Kennedy, President of the United States of America, 1960-1963, was assassinated at Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. Under the John F. Kennedy Memorial Act, 1964, a portion of land at Runnymede was set aside as a permanent memorial to President Kennedy, the site to be administered by the Kennedy Memorial Trust.
