OFFICIAL VISITS: 'Secretary of State for the Colonies Tours Central Africa.' Photographs of Mr Creech Jones, Secretary of State for the Colonies, whilst on his visit to Africa. 'With the completion of the first two weeks of his month's trip round Central Africa completed, in a quick survey of Northern Rhodesia, Mr Greech Jones has added local knowledge gained on the spot to the fund of information he has learned in thirty years study of colonial problems. He certainly went everywhere possible in a crammed fourteen days, saw and heard much and said enough to rouse critics and please enthusiasts of British Colonial policy.'
