Includes entry, warrant and account books dating from Archbishop Laud's term of office as First Lord, 1635 to 1636, and Bishop Juxon's Treasurership, 1636 to 1641, and a precedent book, 1620 to 1635, chiefly concerning Crown lands and audit. Also included are entry books of warrants relating to sheriffs, 1828 to 1856; Lord Chamberlain 1715 to 1826; Mint, 1696 to 1698; War Office, 1795 to 1861; Crown debts, 1714, 1721 to 1809; four-and-a-half-per cent duties, 1765 to 1832; Consolidated Fund, 1797 to 1862; Ireland, 1836 to 1863.
