Description

Treasury letters to the Lord Chancellor, Treasury Solicitor, the King's Remembrancer, the Courts of Law, the Law Officers, the Examiners of Criminal Law Accounts, 1857 to 1889, the Procurator General before 1857 and the Director of Public Prosecutions from 1879. Between 1858 and 1872 the volumes include letters to County and Borough Treasurers about police expenses.
