From c.1953 the files were divided into a larger number of more specific series, reflecting all aspects of the Office's work. Subjects covered include pay and personnel (establishments), finance, contracts, printing and binding, management of printing works, graphic design, publications, supplies, copyright, bookshops and sales, technical services, use of computers in the Civil Service, reprographics, duplicating, graphic design, industrial relations and inspection, transport and warehouses and distribution.
