History: an American merchant ship (sloop, 20 tons, 3 men), bound from Norwalk, Connecticut to Stonington, Connecticut, laden with Indian corn, cheese, salt, oil; taken on 20 February 1779 in latitude 41°N, longitude 71°W by the privateer Swift (James Hayt junior commanding), and brought into New York.
