Captured ship: Wandrende Jacob previously Fredrica Dorothea von Hausborg (master Pietter Holm).
History: a Danish merchant ship (galliot, 80 tons, 6 men), bound from Morlaix to Cadiz, laden with linen; taken on 30 April 1781 about 2 Dutch miles from Cape St Vincent and 40 leagues from Cadiz, by the privateers Phoenix (Philip Staunton commanding) and Royal Charlotte (George French commanding), and brought first into Madeira, and then into Exmouth.
