Captured ship: Priscilla (master William Massey).
History: an American merchant ship (schooner, 3 men, 1 boy) bound from Annapolis to Bush River, Maryland, laden with wheat; taken on 6 March 1783 off Pool's Island in the Chesapeake Bay by the loyalist privateers Rover (Joseph Wayland commanding), and Dragon (George Younghusband commanding), and brought into New York.
