High Court of Admiralty.
Captured ship: Princesse de Robecq (commander Robert Cornu).
History: a French privateer (160 tons, 20 guns, 118 men), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken on 14 June 1780 about 15 leagues E of Great Yarmouth by HMS Ariadne (Matthew Squire commanding) and HMS Fly (Billy Douglas commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth. [Includes four passports for wounded French prisoners].
Court papers: 1-3; Ship's papers: 4-21. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
