Captured ship: Polly and Alice (master William Connell).
History: an American merchant ship (schooner, 25 tons, 2 guns, 9 men), bound from Delaware River to Saint Domingue, laden with flour; taken on 29 December 1782 off the Delaware by HMS Renown (John Henry commanding), and brought into New York.
Court papers: 1-1; Ship's papers: 2-5. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
