Captured ship: St Peter (master Mathieu Lamanon).
History: a French merchant ship (tartan, 95 tons, 6 men), bound from Bussaglia, Corsica to Toulon, laden with timber; taken on 28 March 1780 about 10 leagues from Capo Rosso [Capu Rossu] and 14 leagues from Antibo [Antibes] by the privateer Salisbury (John Chandler commanding), and brought into Genoa.
Court papers: 1-3; Ship's papers: 4-10. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
