Captured ship: Molly (master Robert Humes).
Capture history: an American merchant ship (schooner, 14 tons, 5 men) bound from River Delaware to New Providence, Bahamas, laden with flour, bread, indian corn, iron; taken on 29 July 1782 in latitude 37°N, longitude 25°W by the loyalist privateer Surprize (John Hall commanding), and brought into New York.
Intended voyage: from the United States to the Caribbean Islands.
