Captured ship: Moineau (master Joachim Gillard).
History: a French merchant ship (80 tons, 2 guns, 6 swivels, 15 men), bound from Nantes to Saint Domingue, laden with wine, flour, linen; taken on 6 November 1780 in latitude 41°30'N, longitude 13°W by the privateer Enterprize of Liverpool (James Haslam commanding), and brought into Liverpool.
Court papers: 1-5; Ship's papers: 6-12. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
