History: an American merchant ship (120 tons, 8 guns, 22 men), bound from Saint Domingue to Baltimore, Maryland, laden with sugar; taken on 15 March 1782 off the Capes of Virginia by HMS Warwick (George Keith Elphinstone commanding), and brought into New York.
Court papers: 1-3; Ship's papers: 4-9. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
