Captured ship: Frederick and Adriana (master Dirk Hangoen Zylenmaaker).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (120 tons, 5 men), bound from Villa Nova to Amsterdam, laden with figs, almonds, lemons, oranges, reeds and mats for floors; taken on 28 December 1781, about 3 Dutch miles off the Lizard, by the privateer the Speedwell (Benjamin Harvey commanding), and brought into Falmouth..
