History: an American merchant ship (sloop, 50 tons) bound from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Falmouth, Massachusetts, laden with flour; taken on 20 July 1776 at Cape Henlopen, Delaware by HMS Orpheus (Charles Hudson commanding), and brought into [New York ?].
