Captured ship: St Esteban (master Domingo de Allende).
History: a Spanish merchant ship (brig, 180 tons, 10-20 men), bound from Cadiz to Ferrol, Galicia, laden with oil, rice, beans, garbanzos, beef, cocoa and other merchadise; taken on 15 July 1779 in latitude 41°10'N, longitude 10°30'W by the privateer Charming Kitty (Henry Williams commanding), and brought into Liverpool.
Court papers: 1-11; Ship's papers: 12-20. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
