History: an American privateer (schooner, 45 tons, 14 guns, 21 men) bound from Philadelphia or New London on a cruise; taken on 5 April 1781 about 5 leagues from Sandy Hook by HMS Medea (Henry Duncan commanding), and brought into New York.
