Captured ship: Le Diligent (master Jean Francois Clourit).
History: a French merchant ship (80 tons, 7 men), bound from Noirmoutier to Bordeaux, laden with wheat; taken on 30 November 1781 at Les Sables D'Olonne, Poitou by the privateer Union (Philip Manger commanding), and brought into Jersey.
