Captured ship: St Cyprien of Le Havre (master Pierre Emanuel Martin).
History: a French merchant ship (106 tons, 4 guns, 20 men), bound from St Pierre, Martinique to Le Havre, laden with sugar, cocoa, coffee, tobacco; taken on 20 April 1779 in latitude 48°25'N, longitude 12 or15°W of Paris about ninety leagues from Brest by the privateer Vulture (William Allanson commanding), and brought into Liverpool.
Court papers: 1-34; Ship's papers: 35-114. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
