Captured ship: Chintsura (master Carl Pieters).
History: a Dutch pilot vessel (80 or 100 tons, no guns, 10 men), piloting Dutch East India company ships in the Bengal river; taken on 20 or 30 June 1781 at mouth of river of Bengal by HMS Chacer or Chaser (Thomas Parr commanding), and brought into Calcutta.
Court papers: 1-10. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
