Captured ship: Le Chasseur otherwise Ostend Jaager (master Edward Drew).
History: a Flemish merchant ship (galliot, 100 tons, 4 men), bound from Rouen to Morlaix, laden with wrought iron kettles and cauldrons, wrought iron nails, glass and earthenware; taken on 25 May 1782, 4 Dutch miles from Morlaix, by the privateer Shark (John Wood commanding), and brought into Gweek, Cornwall.
Court papers: 1-38. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
