Captured ship: Black Prince (master John Walsh).
Capture history: an American merchant ship (brigantine, 60 tons), bound on a voyage between the American colonies, laden with cocoa; taken on 14 December 1782 off the Delaware by HMS Pandora (John Inglis commanding), and brought into New York.
Intended voyage: within the United States.
