Captured ship: America (master Robert Cunningham).
Capture history: a Scottish merchant ship, [laden with rum and salt]; taken as a patriot American ship in [February 1776] in Cape Fear River, North Carolina by HMS Cruizer (Francis Parry commanding), and there burnt [in May 1776].
Intended voyage: from the United States to Scotland.
