Captured ship: Amazone (commander Cornelius Loeff).
Capture history: a Dutch privateer (16 guns, 59 or 60 men) bound from Middelburg on a cruise, taken on 30 June 1782 off the Dogger Bank, about 47 leagues SW from the Texel by HMS Winchelsea (Sir John Borlace Warren commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth.
Intended voyage: a cruise from the Netherlands.

Ship's Papers numbered SP 1-17 [red numbers, plus 1]: letter of marque, printed instructions etc; SP 13 muster roll.
